GOLD COAST TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT CENTRE
Adrian was the senior engineer within the South Coast Region and was responsible for implementing the
successful business case for the development of a new state of the art traffic management centre and initial
outlay of associated ITS infrastructure.
Adrian worked with Q-Build to fit-out the Traffic Management Centre which required extensive research and
development as it was an emerging area at that point of time.
Adrian worked with QUT and Transmax to develop ITS and Telecommunications strategies and helped to
develop the former signal operating system TRACS into the current ITS platform STREAMS using South Coast
Region Traffic Management Centre as the testbed.



Adrian spearheaded the implementation of a cutting-edge traffic management center, collaborating with Q-Build to fit-out the facility. He played a pivotal role in developing ITS and Telecommunications strategies in partnership with QUT and Transmax, transforming the signal operating system TRACS into the current ITS platform STREAMS.

COMMONWEALTH GAMES TRAFFIC PLANNING AND IMPLEMENTATION
Adrian played a crucial role in traffic planning for the Commonwealth Games, providing strategic transport advice for local roads surrounding each games precinct and implementing risk mitigation measures for potential flood events. His responsibilities extended to supervisory and coordination duties within the Traffic Management Centre during the games, where he adeptly managed the STREAMS signal management system to ensure efficient queue management on the network. Despite reduced traffic volumes, Adrian’s exceptional performance ensured minimal impacts were swiftly addressed, maintaining smooth operations throughout the event.

PACIFIC MOTORWAY (VARSITY LAKES TO TUGUN)
Adrian’s role as Project Manager for the Business Case and Pre-Construction phase involved not only tackling technical challenges but also establishing robust governance processes crucial for project success. While overseeing individual design packages, he provided overarching Project Management support to ensure the project’s overall success. Adrian navigated environmental approvals, property resumptions, and stakeholder consultations for the M1 project, including managing noise barrier proposals and noise modeling activities. Leveraging his experience from previous roles and collaborations with adjacent developers, Adrian effectively managed various aspects of the project, drawing on his deep understanding of development application processes and strategies deployed by private developers.
